[Hey, if Blue wanted Allura as her pilot, he trusted her choice to be the right one. After all, she had chosen Lance first. Clearly her eye for talent was top notch!

Lance also saw parts of himself mirrored in Allura. That desire to be part of the team, to be needed, and validated. To know you were contributing, rather than hindering. Out of all the others he probably understood her feelings best when it came to being part of Voltron. Supporting her was easy, and effortless. All the things he wished others would say to him, he poured out to her. Seeing Allura shine, and succeed, as a result lifted his own spirits.

Yes, Lance was 100% one of those boyfriends who encouraged their girlfriends to go and kick ass. He would always be there to hold her juniberry.

Leaning his body into her touch, her kisses, Lance feels a pleasant shiver work its way down his spine.]

Oh good, that answers my follow up question about the mice.

[Because as much as he'd hate for Coran to stumble across them all sweaty, and tangled up, he'd hate it even more if the mice saw anything. They were so small and innocent!! Well, except for Chulchule. Everyone knew that one was a furry little snitch and terrible gossip.

Who else would know that Lance had been stealing Hunk's special space nut oil to make a cleanser with?? Chulchule, that's who!

Turning his attention away from mice, and space father figures, he brings a hand up to gently coax Allura's head up so he can kiss her properly. He smiles into it, fingers brushing along her warm cheek to run through her amazingly soft hair. Like piloting his lion, kissing Allura is something he'd never tire of. His free hand slides down her side, squeezing at her waist.]

Of course, there's always the chance they'll hear us throughout the ship as I totally rock your world.

[Yeah.

Despite ending up with the most amazing woman in the universe, some things never change.]
