[there is...a lot to think through. beyond simply what has transpired between her and her friends, between her and Lotor. there's a storm, and there are innocent lives at stake in the wake of a force that cannot be controlled. artificial or not, this is their world.
so Lotor's assumptions aren't wrong. because it's just who she is, as a paladin, as a princess, she will always give it her all to help those in need, put her life on the line to protect those from losing loved ones, losing their home.
so when his message comes through, there's already a certain heaviness that settles about her, in the way it always seems to fall before the final push. it's not a name she wants to see, nor does she want to pay mind to what he has to say to her. they haven't spoken, and she wants to convince herself that she hasn't even thought of him in days past.
but she has. more often than she wishes to admit. time still hasn't healed the wounds of betrayal, and it also has not gotten rid of any of the good memories she has of him.
initially she opens the message to just have it read. to keep it out of sight and out of mind and to have it fade among the other private messages. a varga passes, a varga she remains vigilante.
but in her heart, she knows she is truly not that petty of a person. and she knows that, were he to get himself hurt, or worse, it would pain her more than it probably should.
she lets another varga pass before she finally decides on what to say to him. wishing she were stronger to ignore him, but knowing it would be a weakness to actually be so juvenile and mean...]
I do not want harm to fall on you either. If you find it in yourself to help these people in need, stay safe.
