[As she enters the room with a floating tray following beside her, she's half impressed and half...well, frustrated isn't the right word, but she frowns.
He looks absolutely miserable and his hair gives tell to his shower.]
[ Allura look like she doesn't feel like death warmed over and Shiro's really, really envious. She comes close and Shiro gives her a lopsided smile, self-deprecating. ]
[Look she may push herself to collapse when it matters, but she knows you don't get into a drinking competition with Coran.
She learned that young.]
I did not say mostly stay in bed, did I?
[He's lucky he's cute, because that frown wanes a bit as she approaches, floating tray coming right up beside Shiro. Flat bread resembling crackers (because they are. just crackers.) and bubbly water...and a bucket. as promised. There's also a hot mug of a soft pink liquid but she takes that for herself, sitting down at the edge of his bed.]
[ He makes it through two crackers before needing to finish off his water and just sit quietly for a moment, breathing through his nose. The showered helped him feel human and she's right, the food does settle his stomach, bit by bit. ]
Another reason Alteans are superior to humans, huh?
[ Shiro takes a long sip and gradually, slowly, leans his shoulder against hers once he's sure he won't squish her by melting. ]
[She quietly sips her tea as he eats, watching him out of the corner of her eye just in case he needed any assistance.
But for someone sounding and looking like death, he seems to be managing just fine. Her smile grows warm and fond as he leans into her, laughing lightly.]
I wouldn't say superior, it may just be biological. [She rests her free hand at his knee, patting him sympathetically.] Keith seemed to be able to hold his own for a bit longer than you and Lance.
[ Oh, don't remind him about how much Keith drank. He can already feel the hangover threatening at the edges of Keith's consciousness through the lion bond and he knows all of them are going to feel echoes of it through the day. He doesn't envy Keith that, no matter how much he can hold his alcohol. ]
Being part Galra didn't give him an iron liver or make him immune to hangovers, but hopefully it doesn't hit him too badly. How are you feeling?
[ Being reminded that lifting him is like lifting a bunch of grapes is something he's actually weirdly into so he doesn't cringe as much as he probably should. ]
Pidge is probably finally asleep or still awake but distracted. Hunk likely figured out last night that there was no way I'd be fit to run drills in the morning. The other two are probably going to be out for a while yet.
[ Keith, he trusts, to simply read the message and go right back to bed. ]
Still, I'll at least have the mice bring them all something to eat when they do all wake up.
[Convenient how there are four space mice for the four younger paladins.
She moves her hand from his knee, if only to brush back a lock of white hair from his forehead, which still feels a bit damp from his shower.]
As loathe as I am to see my team hungover, it was nice to see everyone unwind a little, even if it was a bit much. Coran was certainly having fun with your little contest. [A pause.] You owe him a ride in the Black Lion, by the way.
[ He's a little amused as he says it, leaning into her hand with a low, slow breath out. Post-hangover leaves him feeling gross, still a little fuzzy and like he's still over-warm despite his cool shower. ]
We'll see if he even remembers making me promise that.
[ Black'd allow it, though, and Shiro doesn't mind but the idea of driving anything right now makes his stomach twist. ]
Well, don't get particularly used to it. Tomorrow morning I expect everyone to be up bright and early.
[There's good humour to her tone, however, and as he leans his head into her hand, she lets herself linger for a tick. She feels an urge to fuss over him, perhaps because she so rarely sees him like this. She quite likes this sense of normalcy, that the team is tired from a night of drinking, and not over weary from battle.]
Oh, he'll remember. [She goes back to cupping her mug with both hands, taking a pointed sip.] He may be...older than he used to be, but it takes far more than alcohol to get Coran to forget a winning bet.
He'll be instructing you to barrel roll in no time.

[She can admit it too, honestly. Well, not out loud, of course, but having a quiet morning isa nice thought.]
I will be over in a few ticks.
[...]
Along with a bucket.

[ He's just gonna sit here and not move until he can stop regretting being awake right now.
By the time she's here, he's managed the world's quickest shower and is sitting in a pair of loose sweats, head in his hands.]

I thought I told you to stay in bed.

I did, mostly.

It's fine, Princess. I'm sure everyone is happy about the extra hours to rest. They haven't had time off in a while.
[ He's not even going to sniff that thing she has because he knows better. His stomach would rebel. ]

gossiptalk to Keith about it, should it come up.She takes a casual sip of her pink drink which is very tasty thank-you-very-much.]
You're right, it was a long time coming. Regardless of the fact that it's mainly because you and the others cannot handle Altean spirits.
[There's a bit of a sly smirk.]

[Because like it or not you Earthlings are light compared to certain other alien races like the Galra.
And even Alteans. To some extent.]
But I will make sure everyone has something to eat and drink. You were the first to respond to my message.
[She takes a pointed sip of her tea, pauses for a moment of playful consideration, and then:]
Me? Why, I feel fine.
